Investment AB Latour (publ) has through its business area Specma AB acquired all shares in Hydraulikhuset BKH AB from the founders. Closing takes place with immediate effect.
Hydraulikhuset sells and manufactures hydraulic systems for OEM manufacturers, and also distributes components and conducts repair and service business in the aftermarket. With headquarter in Gothenburg, and operations in Kungsbacka and Falkenberg, Hydraulikhuset has 26 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 60 m in the last fiscal year.
"The acquisition of Hydraulikhuset is very gratifying. The skills and the offer within both organizations enhance our ability to be the best partner for our customers even further. The acquisition also strengthens Specma's aftermarket position on Sweden’s west coast", says Bo Jägnefält, CEO of Specma AB.
"The change of ownership represents a natural step for Hydraulikhuset in a long-planned succession of the founders Stig Åkerberg and Paul Wanderydz who are retiring. In addition, the sale means that we will be a part of a larger context which contributes more security for employees, customers and suppliers", says Mathias Nicander which remains the company's CEO.
