Investment AB Latour signed a deal to divest its property in Högsbo in Gothenburg, Sweden today. The building currently houses a number of operations for Latours subsidiaries, Latours headquarters as well as some external tenants.
The divestiture is a natural step for Latour. Owning and managing real estate that is not essential to our own operations is not a central part of Latours business. Through the divestiture Latour frees SEK 110 m in liquid funds which can be used for investment opportunities. Latours current result in the wholly owned operations is not influenced by this. The divestiture generates capital gains of SEK 75 m for the Latour Group.
